About the Show

After working over a year on her debut EP (produced by Dave Mallen of Innovation Station Music), Chelsea is finally ready for the world to listen to it!

She'll be playing a 40 minute set with a full backing band to celebrate. All of her EP songs will be played, as well as some covers.

Her CD will also be available to buy ($5.00 per CD - cash preferred please).

Digital Release

For those of you not in the area or more into digital music - her EP will also be available on ITunes and all the usual suspects on this day (November 5th). You can pre-order on ITunes on October 8th.

A Message From the Artist

Friends,

This has been a dream of mine for over a year. Well, technically much longer than that - dreams of releasing my own music date back to elementary school.

I'm so excited to be sharing this day with you all. I've really put myself into this EP, and I hope it resonates with others. I really appreciate all the support I've gotten so far!

I humbly ask you all to help spread the word about this dream of mine.

If you're in the area:

A) Come to the show if you can! (November 5th @ The TreeHouse Lounge in DC!)
B) Tell others about the show!
C) Buy the CD if you can! (Seriously, I've got like 500 of these sitting in my apartment. Buy a CD, save a closet.)

This EP release show will be very special, complete with some of my favorite local artists and a backing band I've been rehearsing all of my songs with just for you all and this show. = )

If you're not in the area or can't make it:

A) Buy the EP (digital sales begin the same day as the show!)
B) Spread the word about the EP. (It's on the usual suspects for buying and streaming.)

Thank you all for the support and for celebrating this project with me! I'm very excited to share it with you.

Best,
Chelsea

Quotes About The Music

Chelsea Sisson’s voice is both sultry and edgy, like an indie rocker singing the blues. Her songs speak of love and longing - replete with dark metaphors and irony, but always with a glimmer of optimism. Chelsea draws from classic jazz, rock, and pop to brew her own special musical potion that is sure to intoxicate you.
— Dave Mallen, Owner/Producer, Innovation Station Music
Chelsea’s style is simply just cool. Her songs are a mix of the classic sounds of the 60s with an indie rock spin. She’s an old soul with a unique and sultry voice. Her genuine love of performing shines through on stage!
— Cathy DiToro, fellow DC singer/songwriter & coordinator of Ladies Night On Stage
Chelsea Sisson is a welcomed fresh sound to the Washington, DC area music scene. She has combined the classic vibe of early female rock from the 1960s with modern pop undertones reminiscent of Amy Winehouse & Lana Del Ray. On stage she’s a storyteller, giving each song the attention it deserves so the audience connects even more with her songs.
— Brian Franke, fellow DC singer/songwriter
